"If you want peace and quite in a tranquil setting then this is the hotel for you. The staff are a young married couple and are very friendly, polite and courteous . We both thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and the full breakfast was very good. The bedroom was spotless clean and the toilet and shower were immaculate. The food and drinks prices were reasonable. There are two good walks of around a mile to the beach. At night we saw the red deer from the window and there are also red squirrels present. We saw numerous bird species including wood peckers."Anon

"I stayed one night with my husband and daughter and couldn’t fault this hotel. A traditional hotel that is well maintained and decorated with a modern, classy, Scottish twist (nice bright tweed accessories in bedroom). Room was clean and comfortable with great quality pillows and bedding. Breakfast was excellent- good quality ingredients, locally sourced. Our host (ess) was lovely (wife of husband and wife managers) and hotel bar cozy and welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend a stay." Anon
